Version 0.3.1
This is first update after demo day. I received good feedback and got more ideas. My "To Do" list grew quite a lot and some changes are going to require more time, so this update concentrates on smaller improvements.
Changes
-
Moved the vertical Magic Mirror room to more advanced template (most new players are just not ready for it)
-
Changed Holomap material
-
Added Holomap icon for Magic Mirror (it's another heart)
-
Changed Holomap icon for Entrance Door (Just a larger door)
-
Holomap turns on automatically
-
Activating Magic Mirror maxes out Extra Time
-
Added tooltip to Action Card buttons on Action Screen
-
Made Automatic Tooltips faster
-
Added a “landing indicator” under player (its purpose is to help players in judging where they are about to land. I personally do not recommend playing the game while looking under your feet all the time, but I hope it is going to help players get used to the movement. The landing indicator can be disabled in options)
-
Made Dungeon Doors triggers wider
-
Combined freezing explanation pages in Action Screen tutorial
-
Removed confirmation message for Guest Guessing
-
Tutorial Pause Screen Changes
-
Starting dungeon run, tutorial or training does not start with opening pause screen any more.
Bugfixes
-
Ledge grabbing gets disabled when you crouch

Good work.
I wanted to try the landing indicator but it didn't seem very useful to me since I don't really look down while playing. That being said, I'm not exactly a new player at this point.
Thanks for the comment, and you are correct. Experienced players are better at judging distances, so that addition is extra help for new players. I just hope it is not going to get them in the habit of constantly looking down. There is already an option to disable it in case you find it distracting.
